stow Group, a company specializing in industrial storage and automation solutions, will invest $36 million to open a new manufacturing facility in Gordon County, Georgia. The project is expected to create about 200 jobs in the area.

Headquartered in Belgium, stow manufactures racking systems for warehouses and offers customized storage solutions. The company is expanding its operations into the United States, serving clients in logistics, food and beverage, life sciences, and other sectors.
Jos De Vuyst, CEO of stow Group, stated: “This new production facility in Georgia will further strengthen stow’s presence and support network in North America and bring us closer to existing and new customers. Expanding our production footprint in the United States is a key milestone for stow Group. The new facility in Gordon County will allow us to serve our customers faster, enhance our local partnerships, and continue our commitment to innovation and sustainability.”
Michael Morgenroth, Plant Manager at stow U.S., added: “I am very excited to ramp up a highly automated production plant with the latest technologies in rack manufacturing. Together with the State of Georgia and Gordon County, we are already working on training plans. The new operation will occupy 240,000 square feet of an existing building along Highway 41 near Adairsville. Production is scheduled to begin in 2026. Job openings will include positions related to profiling, stamping, welding, powder coating, automation, assembly as well as roles in logistics, administration, and management. John Soper from the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) Global Commerce team worked on this project alongside partners such as the Gordon County Chamber of Commerce, Development Authority of Gordon County, Georgia Quick Start program (which provides workforce training), and Georgia Power.
