Kennesaw State University announced on April 27 that several of its graduates have returned to the university to serve as mentors and educators for current students.
The announcement highlights how KSU alumni are using their experiences and skills gained at the university in their professional lives before coming back to contribute to the campus community. This reflects a continuing connection between graduates and the institution.
According to Kennesaw State, five alumni achieved success outside the university before deciding to return as mentors and teachers. Each described feeling that KSU was like home, making their decision to come back an easy one. The time it took for each graduate to return varied, with some returning after a few years and others much sooner.
The university said these returning graduates are committed to supporting new generations of “Owls,” both on campus and beyond. Their involvement is seen as a way of giving back while strengthening ties within the KSU community.
This development was also featured in Summit Magazine, underlining its significance for both current students and alumni.
