Kennesaw State University announced on April 16 that the Spring Symposium of Student Scholars will be held from April 22 to April 24 on the Kennesaw Campus. The event, organized by the Office of Undergraduate Research, provides students with an opportunity to present their research projects to faculty, donors, and members of the public.
The symposium is held twice a year and marks the culmination of each student’s research efforts over the semester. Students work alongside a faculty research mentor as they develop their projects, which are then showcased during the event.
The upcoming symposium will begin with poster presentations on Wednesday, April 21. Projects this spring will cover a range of topics including non-invasive cancer treatments, tipping norms in coffee shops, and music theory.
The university said that these presentations offer insight into student-led inquiry across multiple disciplines and allow participants to share their findings with a broader audience. The program can be viewed online through the university’s website.
By bringing together students and mentors from different fields, Kennesaw State aims to foster academic growth and encourage future research collaborations.
