The Office of Undergraduate Research at Kennesaw State University will host its biannual Symposium of Student Scholars from November 19 to 21 on the Marietta Campus. The event provides students with a platform to share their research with faculty, donors, and the public. Each participant works alongside a faculty mentor throughout the semester, culminating in presentations at the symposium.

This fall’s symposium begins on Wednesday with poster presentations. Projects include a student-designed video game that explores nuclear energy, an AI-assisted drone utilizing thermal imaging for airport runway monitoring, and a study examining whether corporal punishment in childhood is linked to increased aggression in adulthood.

A complete list of projects can be accessed by interested attendees.
