Forty alumni have been selected for the Kennesaw State University (KSU) Alumni Association’s 40 Owls Under 40 Class of 2026, an annual recognition program highlighting young graduates making significant professional and community contributions.

The program, which includes alumni from both KSU and Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU), aims to honor individuals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated notable achievements since graduation. Nearly half of all KSU alumni are under 40, with over 75,000 eligible candidates considered for this year’s class. More than 450 nominations were submitted during Fall 2025.

Honorees represent a range of fields and organizations such as Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, New York City Ballet, and Los Alamos National Laboratory. The group includes graduates from each of KSU’s eleven colleges, hailing from sixteen cities in Georgia and eight states. Eight members are also affiliated with KSU’s Marietta Campus or SPSU.

KSU President Kathy S. Schwaig said, “This year’s class of 40 Owls Under 40 is an impressive group of alumni making impacts across the spectrum of business, government, education, public service and more. Their accomplishments embody the proud spirit of Kennesaw State and serve as an inspiring example for our current students.”

Frances Beusse, associate vice president for Alumni and Constituent Engagement at KSU added: “Kennesaw State graduates continue to make exceptional contributions to their communities, industries, and society at large in Georgia and far beyond. We’re thrilled to be honoring these outstanding members of the 40 Owls Under 40 Class of 2026.”

The selection process evaluated nominees on their career accomplishments, community involvement, and commitment to the university.

A full list of honorees was provided by the university.
