Kennesaw State University has announced a new partnership with OneGoal, an education nonprofit, to improve postsecondary outcomes for metro Atlanta high school students. The collaboration aims to provide more structured pathways to college and support students once they enroll at the university.

Taylor Ramsey, executive director of OneGoal, said, “This partnership between OneGoal and KSU reflects what’s possible when institutions align around a common commitment to students. By working together, we can create a more connected and supportive college experience where students feel seen, supported, and confident as they work toward their degrees.”

OneGoal works with school districts across the United States to make postsecondary planning an essential part of the high school curriculum. In Georgia, the organization currently serves 17 high schools in the Atlanta area. Through its program, about 1,500 high school juniors and seniors receive guidance through dedicated classes and counseling services focused on preparing them for higher education.

Jacqueline Quiroga, assistant vice president for Enrollment Services at Kennesaw State University (KSU), emphasized the alignment between both organizations’ missions. “We are proud to partner with OneGoal to expand the pathways that lead students to meaningful postsecondary success,” Quiroga said. “OneGoal’s mission to ensure equitable access to college and career opportunities deeply aligns with our commitment to removing barriers and empowering students to achieve their fullest potential. We look forward to working together to provide the guidance, resources, and support that help students confidently pursue — and realize — their academic and professional aspirations.”

As part of this initiative, KSU will allocate resources specifically for students enrolled through OneGoal. These efforts will add another layer of support on top of existing advising and academic services available at the university.
