Kennesaw State University will begin its Presidential Lecture Series on September 8 with a presentation by Kathy Pham, an expert in artificial intelligence. The event is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Dance Theater on the university’s Marietta Campus.
The Presidential Lecture Series is designed to feature prominent thinkers, address important topics affecting society, challenge existing perspectives, and encourage civil discussion.
Pham’s lecture, titled “AI Across Boundaries: The Only Way Forward,” will focus on the future of artificial intelligence. She plans to cover how AI is created and used, who influences its development, and why it is important to connect technology with policy, education, and innovation.
Pham serves as vice president of artificial intelligence at Workday and is also a fellow and adjunct lecturer at Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She graduated from Georgia Tech and has experience as a computer scientist, product leader, and entrepreneur in various sectors including private industry, non-profit organizations, and government.

The lecture will take place Monday, September 8 from 2-3 p.m. at the Dance Theater in the Joe Mack Wilson Student Center on KSU’s Marietta Campus.
